About

As part of their studies, BA (Hons) Film and Screen Studies students based at London College of Communication, University of the Arts London host screening events throughout their degree, culminating in a series of interlinked screen events in their final year.

In response to the Covid-19 pandemic and motivated by the importance of accessibility, we have developed this website to host online screenings and talks alongside articles, podcasts, news and other related editorial content. When screenings are not programmed or taking place the website will act as an archive of past events and related content.

In 2021, for their second year Collaborative Project unit the students worked with a graphic designer and web designer to develop this website. The students worked together on the research and development of the website as well as producing a launch event consisting of short screen based works made by past and present Screen School students.

    What is FASE?

    FASE stands for Film and Screen Events. It is a web platform that hosts events, discussions, film programmes and associated content organised and developed by the BA Film and Screen Studies course at London College of Communication. More information about the course here.

    BA (Hons) Film and Screen Studies teaches the historical, theoretical, cultural and critical analysis of film and screen to the next generation of filmmakers and influencers in the commissioning, distribution, curation and exhibition of film and screen.

    Accessibility

    This website is run by the Film and Screen Studies course team at London College of Communications, University of the Arts London (UAL). This accessibility statement applies to fase.arts.ac.uk.     This website uses HTML 5 (HyperText Mark-up Language) and CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) to render content. We have also used other technologies including JavaScript on certain areas of the website. The site is built using WordPress.
